I was so tired these few days.
What i am gonna show you is about the model and site analysis that my group did in architectural design 101 class.
First of all, we had a class, lecturer brought some briefing and asked us to have a site visit at The Curve, The Street as main purpose and The garden as objects in our assignment.
Let me show you the picture, viewing from e-curve:
In this case, i chose the Garden, u can see the building which is placed at the bottom of left corner.
Chandra and i did have site visit overthere, and had some lunch. Meanwhile, my other friends have a different object, which is Italiannies. So, they went to there and had lunch in order to see how the structures, the columns, and the spaces inside the buildings.
Then, i'm gonna show you some images that i took when having some cake. Here are:
This one is the upper floor of the Garden :
The third floor is just the office, nothing special to show. :)
A bit interesting, isn't it? haha..
Once we know what it's all about, we are supposed to do the site analysis and the model of that building. And i am the leader of the group, my members are chandra and chenelle.
In the time doing the analysis, chandra was doing the site analysis of both side, The laundry in front of the Garden. Actually, chenelle was asking chandra to do analysis together, but, chandra was so fast, and after she came to our house chandra had already done. Hmm...?
In the meant time, chandra offered himself to help me measuring the size. And Then i just cut off the boards and stick it carefully. It'll be my pleasure. =)
On due date, while we wanted to submit, ms. Linda said it was postponed until tuesday. Then, i had a spare time to modify my model to a better look. I just did it from the monday night until tuesday morning (which will be submitted in the afternoon). Actually, i wanted to ask chenelle to come to help me, but it's already so late at approximately 2 a.m.
Let me show our model:
"It's coming soon, I haven't captured it yet =)" hehe..
These are the other models of our measure group/big group(means mine is small group):
Exciting, right?
Although, our model's not the best one, we must appreciate our efforts in doing that.
And i think, that's all about architectural design 101 this far.
Hopefully, you guys enjoy it. ^o)

Today is quite fun.
I counted all the blocks that i did before in my first assignment which was "The wonder wall". I still remember that, my friends and i did a wonder wall at school in about 7 hours on wednesday (exactly from 9am to 4pm). We were so tired in that day, but we still couldn't make it reach 30 centimeters, what the hell, it's a fool. I don't want to do it anymore.
If dennis asks us to redo it again in order to pass the course, we must! I thought that it's pity if i fail the subject. Last day before we have holiday (non-contact week), my friend asked him : "teacher, why do we have subject like this?" He paused for a while, and said : "Just have fun, i want you to have a feeling how to build it". What a funny answer? hahaha...
But, it doesn't matter, i'm not talking about my fears, it's a past, it's a history. I'm now talking about the present. I got so many experiences here, got also many dilligent people, definitely my housemates. They are all good. Lucky to have them.
Luckily, i was having watched "The Crazies" at IOI mall. The movie is nice to watch, it's a horror, i was shocked once twice and my heartbeat was breathing so fast.. haha.. =). However, it's not bad.
Now, let me show you the things that i counted today. Here we go:
These are some of the blocks, another is with my friends. It's four thousand here, i counted it one by one and separate the good ones and bad ones, and the last of this task is i suppose to give some back to my friends. =)
The broken ones.
The first time we purchased the blocks, some blocks were already spoiled. What a pity!? 7500 blocks in the count of rm.700. Expensive, isn't it? =(
But, i thought, it is cheaper than buy a new ones. =)
I think, that's all about today. ^o)

Hi, readers..
Today is a tiring day.
It's been along time that i don't update my blog.
First of all, i did work hard to do my assignment which is called the "Skeletal bridge" with my group.
I would like to expose some of the pictures, and let me show you even though it hasn't finished yet. =)
Here are those :
As u can see, how long do you guess to make that thing? haha..
We have been doing it in 2 days, and it doesn't show any wonderful thing yet, and i was a guy who cut the most thing =). Sooner and later, after we finish that damn bridge, one person should be standing on it in about 30 seconds. Really tired in doing it, takes much time to do that, and if the bridge breaks, we must redo it again, besides it's also expensive to get that damn "balsa wood".
Last of all, wish you guys feel glad and fun in viewing The Journey.
Warm regards,
Wilson. ^o)

Before i continue to the next topic, i would like to say thanks to Frans Subrata who had mostly taught me while having Examination. Thank You Mr, haha..
Gladly, i would love to share my adversities in Malaysia.
Just about 4 months after graduated from senior high school, i tried to look for university which has a good quality in design. When i asked everyone when i was supposed to be in, some said LUCT was a better college to take up Architecture major(it sounded nice). So i asked my mom to school me overthere, then my mom agreed with me as far as i do want to study more to pursue my dream.
So, on july 2009, i did intake and entered a university in Malaysia, which is Limkokwing University of Creative Technology(LUCT), and took up the "Architectural Science" major. In here malaysia, i was getting more diligent than previously. Mom had schooled me this far, i got to be diligently thinking about my future, it should be something very impressive for me. Thank you mom. :p.
Two weeks to go, the class was first begun by “Architecture & Culture 101" , and the lecture was Faisal. He taught us about “setting” and asked us to have site visit at Perbadanan Putrajaya to do sketching overthere (we gotta sketch what the meaning of setting in drawing). I did sketch approximately an hour and half with sun shining from up above (Oh my God! It was surely very hot dude..), finally, i done one building (there are another 3 objects).
The next topic is going to be the “Fluid”, having site visit at subang jaya. Before sketching, i did tutorial to Suzy about “setting”. When she looked at my sketch book, she said : “This is not a drawing class, you shouldn’t sketch whole the building details, just got the point of the building” (so, i got to clarify what the setting is about.. However, it means, i must redo my work, what a pity!) :(.
In this case, it is not possible for me to tell whole the topic to all of you guys. So, i am just able to mention the topics only. (Maybe for the next Blog, i would share my journal and big chart to you..:).
Here are the topics:
1. Setting (about the site, environment).
2. Fluid (the movement).
3. Pop (the symbolic meaning of the building such as "Mc Donald").
4. Tectonic (this is about the details, such as how they carve the stone inside the mirror).
5. Poetic (about the visual feeling, the building looks like disappear from the site).
6. Open house (the emptiness of the building, such as restaurant).
7. Imagining (the building that could not be built on today's technology).
8. Assemblage (about the different elements which are combined into one function).
9. Restraint (talking about the emptiness, silence, and discipline of the building).
10. Figure (the significant changes, like the masculine and feminime, the line and circle).
In some topics, include setting, fluid and pop, i had finished those topics, but while i was asking the lecture, she said that these all were wrong, the drawings that you explained in your sketches, was not explaining about the point of each topics (So, i should redo it again.. :’(. I just tried to be patient and be enthusiastic ^o).
About a week to go, suzy sent us an email about the final submission date. She said we could make the tutorial on 10th to 12th november. And the submission day seemed to be on November 13, Friday.
So, on Monday, i tried to finish all my sketches without having any rest until sunrise. Then i did the tutorial again on Tuesday to Suzy, when she looked at my sketch book, she was more impressive on my work than previously. Fortunately, more than half of my works was accepted. But i got to finish it directly, because i hadn’t even done one my Big Chart.
In doing so, i was thinking that it’s crazy, it was not possible to submit it on Friday, it will possible if i do not have my rest for two nights (Oowh, how come). After my journal done, i began to do my Big Chart. I thought that “there is only a few chances for me to finish the Big Chart, evenless finish on friday”. But, on Thursday, suzy sent us an email, which was written as submission date was postponed until Monday (more glad.. :).
In this case, the person who submits it on Friday, will get 15% more, and 10% more on Saturday. So, i tried to finish it on Friday without having my repose (It’s absolutely very tired and impares my body). I did not sleep on Thursday, however, i could not hold my eyes farther in the morning, so i just took my rest immediately. Friday night, i studied for other subject (due to examination on Saturday), Saturday night i did my big chart slowly, because of tired, and just had my repose in about 3 hours then, on Sunday, 4 hours (how sad i am). But, finally i submitted whole my works at 11.30 a.m. to Ms.Suzy.
Huff!! Feel a bit more pleasant after done whole works.
On that day, i felt very happy, i played basketball everyday, besides, i also tried to make this BLOG to share my experiences to all of you with pleasure guys, how glad..:).
Overall, for those who is reading this text, i expect you not to feel bored in reading it and favourable to always follow me, i will be glad to note more writing if you deign to read. Hopefully, the informations which are given and shared out to you guys, would be beneficial. Furthermore, thank you guys for reading it. :p.
Warm Regards,
Wilson Leonardo
